Who stands opposite you

SecureOps Solutions is one of the brands of Fortify 24x7. The agreement sits with Fortify 24x7: the name printed on an invoice, and the name a card statement carries as FORTIFY 24X7. Buying a line here means taking these terms along with it.

What one line buys

A line is a named service carrying a unit, a monthly figure, and a description on whichever console page owns it. That description is the specification: what gets covered, what gets watched, what record survives, and where it stops. Nothing said anywhere else forms part of what you bought, whoever said it.

How the charge behaves

• Subscriptions are taken monthly and in advance, off the card entered at checkout.
• Charge one lands at checkout, and it returns on that date every month afterwards.
• Every line on the board bills as one subscription with one charge.
• Figures can move on thirty days of notice by email. A move never reaches a stretch already paid for.

A card that gets declined

The card gets retried. You hear about it. Cover carries on through a short grace stretch, because switching security off over a declined card helps nobody at all. Where the balance stays unpaid beyond that, lines are suspended and afterwards closed. This room will have written to you more than once before either step happens.

What this room undertakes

• To provision the lines you bought and keep them running.
• To keep a person at the console in every hour of the day. That is a claim about rotas, not a promise of any particular response time.
• To work callouts, say what was found, and record what was done about it.
• To tell you quickly and directly when something affecting you has gone wrong, including when it went wrong on our side of the wire.

What your firm undertakes

• To grant the access these lines require, and to say when it changes.
• To enrol whichever devices and connect whichever accounts you want covered. Nothing unenrolled is covered.
• To keep counts truthful. Twenty units bought against forty machines enrolled is a breach, not a bargain.
• To name somebody reachable who is able to decide when a decision is wanted.
• To use the service lawfully, and never against systems you have no right to.

Promises deliberately absent

This section matters more than most of the page, so it is not buried at the bottom.

• No line here prevents every attack. Controls shift odds and shorten damage. Anybody promising more is selling reassurance.
• No response time is published on this site, because a figure nobody could stand behind for your own estate is worth nothing. What is committed is that the console is manned.
• This is not insurance. Nothing here underwrites a loss.
• Nobody here certifies you as compliant with anything. These lines produce evidence that assists an audit; the audit stays yours.
• The products underneath are commercial software belonging to other companies, and our warranty reaches no further than theirs does.

Where liability lands

Liability for any claim touching the service is capped at the fees paid across the twelve months preceding it. Neither side carries indirect or consequential loss, lost profit among it. Nothing written here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, fraud and personal injury caused by negligence included.

Your material stays yours

Your data, your files and your backup copies belong to you. They are held so that this service can run, and for nothing else. They train nothing, they are sold to nobody, and no right over them is claimed. On the way out you can have them back wherever a platform permits an export, and the sensible moment to ask is before the account closes rather than afterwards.

Standing the watch down

Stand it down whenever you choose: close it yourself inside the billing portal, or write from whichever address the account carries. Doing so stops the next charge and everything runs on until the paid stretch expires. Refunds are covered on the refunds and cancellation page. An account can be closed from this end too, for non payment or unlawful use, and outside an emergency notice comes first.

When these terms move

They can move. Anything material gets thirty days of notice by email to the address the account carries. If a change does not suit, stand down before it takes effect and the stretch already paid for finishes on the terms originally agreed.

The remaining small print

• If any clause here proves unenforceable, everything else in the agreement survives it.
• Letting a clause slide once is not the same as waiving it.
• You cannot transfer this agreement without written agreement from us. We can transfer it as part of a sale or reorganisation.
• These terms, together with the console pages describing what you bought, form the whole agreement between us.
• The law of the state where Fortify 24x7 is established governs the agreement, and the courts there have jurisdiction.
